Terms of service.
Effective 19 May 2026. Plain-language terms governing your use of mueen.me and the Mueen accessibility audit service.
Who you're contracting with
"Mueen", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the Mueen accessibility audit service operated from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. By using this site or our APIs you ("you", "customer") agree to these Terms.
The service
Mueen provides automated and human-assisted digital accessibility audits, mapped to WCAG 2.2, ISO 30071-1, Saudi DGA standards, Vision 2030 KPIs, Mada, Qatar e-Accessibility Policy, and related frameworks. The free scanner on the home page is provided as-is, rate-limited, and intended for evaluation only. Paid tiers are governed by a separate order form or contract.
Permitted use
- You may scan URLs that you own, operate, or have written permission to audit.
- You may not use Mueen to scan a property without authorization, to circumvent rate limits, or to attempt to extract internal model output, prompts, or non-public configuration.
- You may not use Mueen to provide a competing accessibility audit service to a third party without a written reseller agreement.
Audit results
The findings produced by Mueen are technical and policy guidance, not a legal opinion. While our reports are accepted as third-party audit evidence by Saudi DGA and Mada, you remain responsible for the accessibility of your own services and for any regulatory submissions made based on our findings. Mueen's automated tooling will not catch every accessibility issue; nothing replaces manual evaluation with users with disabilities.
Intellectual property
The Mueen platform, reports, brand, and source code are our property. You retain ownership of any data you submit (URLs, audited content). You grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to deliver the service.
Third-party trademarks and framework logos
Mueen audits services against a number of named frameworks and standards — including WCAG, the W3C, ISO, the Saudi Digital Government Authority, Saudi Vision 2030, the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Mada and the Qatar Ministry of Communications and Information Technology e-Accessibility Policy. Where the logos of these frameworks or their issuing bodies appear on mueen.me, they identify the standards Mueen audits against. Their use does not imply endorsement, certification or partnership by the named organisations, and all such logos remain the property of their respective owners.
Warranties
The free scanner is provided without warranty. For paid tiers we warrant that the service will materially perform as described, with the SLAs specified in your order form.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Saudi law, our aggregate liability for any claim under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. This clause does not limit liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, with notice except where immediate suspension is required to protect the service or other users.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Riyadh, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction where its rights are infringed.
Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with an updated "Effective" date. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
